Election Result

Congratulations to Mike Gapes and David Evennett on their success at the General Election on 6th May!  Stephen Robinson did well to increase his vote by 6,000 but it wasn't enough to topple the established MP at Chelmsford. Another opportunity for Stephen may occur sooner rather than later!

I discovered, only on the day of the election, that we do in fact have THREE Old Buck MPs. Stephen Metcalfe was at BHCHS in the sixth form only (from 1982-1984). Standing as the Conservative candidate, he successfully gained the seat of Basildon South and Thurrock East previously held by Labour.

So our target for the next election is: four Old Buck MPs including two from the same year group.
