I was very sad to hear the news of the death of Stephen Church (1969). I plan to publish an obituary in the next edition of Old Buckwellians News but in the meantime, those who remember Stephen, and even those who don't, will be interested to see a video about him on YouTube made by his former Professor of Chemistry at Nottingham University, Martyn Poliakoff.
The professor's comments, towards the end of the video, about losing touch with Stephen, give a poignant reminder of the nature of our network.
