The May 2009 edition of OB News carried a news item that John Robins had transferred another old cine film to DVD. This was from the 1968 school trip to the Harz Mountains and Rhine Valley.
Since publishing this item, several pupils who went on that trip were put in contact with John and he sent them copies of the DVD. But he has also transferred two more films from the European trips he and Gerry Brown organised in 1969 and 1970.
I was very pleased, as a result of this, to be back in contact with Gerry Brown (Economics 1967-71) who left teaching many years ago for a career in industry.
