Donald Ray, who was Head of Music at BHCHS from 1951 to 1961 died on 8th March 2010 following a short illness. He was 81.
Don Ray was admired both as a fine teacher and a talented and versatile musician. A full obituary, including tributes from his former BHCHS pupils, will be published in the Autumn edition of Old Buckwellians News.
A memorial concert for Don will be held on Saturday 18th September. The concert will include a performance of the Mozart Requiem at Chingford Parish Church. Further details can be downloaded HERE.
